    Hi, in the example, the TV is rated 150 watts so consumes 150 watts of instantaneous energy, does this mean 150 watts is consumed every second that the TV is on for?

      Yes that is true، but it's better to multiply it with hours, to have watthour, because any bill you will calculate will be in watthour times the tariff

      It's not a good idea because it lower the efficiency but in case you need that you have to buy a special ballast

    faults in the oil ? the bucholz relay senses gas accumulation caused by a fault in transformer windings between windings or a dead short circuit the gas produced by this faults are accumulated inside the bucholz relay and this gases actuating floats the floats ativating a alarm aswwell turning off the faulty transformer through safety devies explain it right thank you

      You can use it in only on condition!! First be sure that the cables isn't connected to any devices,, second the cable insulation rating must be 300v for example to megger it with 250v test

    So if the nameplate of a motor shows 100W, power factor and amperage rating. Is that 100W just the active power and not the apparent power? This subject has always confused me but your videos are helping me understand things a bit better so thank you.

    *The cost difference really adds up if you are ordering quantities of 50 to 100 or most obviously, 1000 each in a wide variety of values. I also greatly dislike working with 1/8 and 1 watt resistors. In a lot of D.C. circuits, 1/8 watt are perfectly fine, but if you are using perfboard, I personally find them unpleasant to work with.* Installing 1/8 watt on a PCB wouldn't be a significant hassle, but I would personally still dislike using them.

    So a C16 MCB will keep working if 16amps current drawn by a AC stabilizer (100% rated current load @ 230 volts ) runs through it day n night 24*7 ( in case of inverter AC ) & will only trip when amps exceed 10 time the rated amps (short circuit ) or voltage drops ( below 200 volts ) and AC stabilizer starts drawing more amps causing overload situation right ?

      Yes that's right, if current exceeds 16amps (let's say 18amps for example) after a time that you can calculate on the curve the breaker will trip, this increase of current could be because of drop in voltage or increase of load(power)

I have 3000KVA delta delta transformer with electride load (electrc furnace) Its not being run at full power i mean being run at 1500 KVA with pf 0.93. so if i need to install capacitor banks to achieve pf 0.99 how will be the calculation?       Thank you for your question, you can reduce it by increasing transmitted voltage which will cause the transmitted current to be decreased, as the current decreases the voltage drop and power loss will be decreased too
