Hi, in the example, the TV is rated 150 watts so consumes 150 watts of instantaneous energy, does this mean 150 watts is consumed every second that the TV is on for?
Yes that is true، but it's better to multiply it with hours, to have watthour, because any bill you will calculate will be in watthour times the tariff
Excellent 👏🏾
Thank you for your support ❤️🙏
It has its advantages too where the ash particles from the boiler are ionized and use the hammer to lower them to the ash tray where they can be removed from the boiler. In power generation
Thank you for your great information ❤️🙏
Excellent pro ❤❤👏💪

Could you add a dimmer?
It's not a good idea because it lower the efficiency but in case you need that you have to buy a special ballast
Thank you!
Hello i have a high pressure sodium lamp. i can't use it anymore because if i put a new bulb it blow the bulb. can u tell me what is the reason of burning out the bulb?
you have mention lamp and bulb which are the same?? do you mean with lamp the complete fixture?!
Nice explanation

faults in the oil ? the bucholz relay senses gas accumulation caused by a fault in transformer windings between windings or a dead short circuit the gas produced by this faults are accumulated inside the bucholz relay and this gases actuating floats the floats ativating a alarm aswwell turning off the faulty transformer through safety devies explain it right thank you
excellent thank you for your information ❤️🙏
@@electricalengineeringplane6620 you are very welcome as a small hint you can look the function from a bucholz relay up in wikipedia smiles
how do I know what capacitor size to use?
For 400watt HPS lamp you will buy cap/hps400 ,, for 1000watt HPS lamp you will buy cap/hps1000
Size of capacitance for cap/hps400 is 55 microfarad
Can I use it for low voltage wires and devices like 12VDC and 48VDC?
You can use it in only on condition!! First be sure that the cables isn't connected to any devices,, second the cable insulation rating must be 300v for example to megger it with 250v test
Just for the files: Face masks won't protect you from Corona discharge! 🤣
True 🤣🤣
You assume P is constant for before and after situation but actually is the S constant - P is changing with the Power factor changing
You know your motors, thanks very much for a great channel.
Thank you for your support 🙏♥️
What a peculiar accent
if we find the power again, what is the first thing for?
So if the nameplate of a motor shows 100W, power factor and amperage rating. Is that 100W just the active power and not the apparent power? This subject has always confused me but your videos are helping me understand things a bit better so thank you.
Thank you for your support <3 the answer is yes 100w is the active power,, and you can use it along with power factor to calculate the apparent power
Gotcha, thanks for the reply
good job

As shown in curves it take a specific time to trip, moreover why we are choosing the MCCB rate current to be equal 1.25 full load? As example: heater current = 12 Amp MCCB ==> B16
Thank you for your question 😊 we increase mccb rating current for protection purposes,, to take into consideration the temporary overload current and inrush current

3 phase how to install in 2phase
In the explanation you mixed up X2 and x3
Thanks for your clarity in delivering the issue I am expert in this field however I shifted to another field and now I am back trying to catch up; you brushed out a lot, well done. I have one question why in the switch example you tested it while the switch On ? is it safe?
Thank you for your support 🙏❤️,, you can apply the test safely when the switch is away of the power source,, the problem when you test it when it is energized
What is the difference between 3 wires and 4 wires for a PT100 ?
Weldon, your explanation helped.
Thank you for your support 🙏❤️
In reality the 100 bulb is brighter
100 w bulb is brighter in case of parallel connection
*The cost difference really adds up if you are ordering quantities of 50 to 100 or most obviously, 1000 each in a wide variety of values. I also greatly dislike working with 1/8 and 1 watt resistors. In a lot of D.C. circuits, 1/8 watt are perfectly fine, but if you are using perfboard, I personally find them unpleasant to work with.* Installing 1/8 watt on a PCB wouldn't be a significant hassle, but I would personally still dislike using them.
Thank you for your fruitful discussion ❤️🙏
So a C16 MCB will keep working if 16amps current drawn by a AC stabilizer (100% rated current load @ 230 volts ) runs through it day n night 24*7 ( in case of inverter AC ) & will only trip when amps exceed 10 time the rated amps (short circuit ) or voltage drops ( below 200 volts ) and AC stabilizer starts drawing more amps causing overload situation right ?
Yes that's right, if current exceeds 16amps (let's say 18amps for example) after a time that you can calculate on the curve the breaker will trip, this increase of current could be because of drop in voltage or increase of load(power)
Love the explanation. Thanks

Hi mate, Amazing experience you shared with us. I have a query pls help. I have 3000KVA delta delta transformer with electride load (electrc furnace) Its not being run at full power i mean being run at 1500 KVA with pf 0.93. so if i need to install capacitor banks to achieve pf 0.99 how will be the calculation? Should i consider 1500KVA or 3000KVA?
How could you reduce power loss during electrical transmission
Thank you for your question, you can reduce it by increasing transmitted voltage which will cause the transmitted current to be decreased, as the current decreases the voltage drop and power loss will be decreased too
Touch potential is likely part of the reason for high-voltage arc flash incidents involving electricians repairing or servicing high-voltage stuff such as MCCs or high voltage transformers. It can lead to burns, serious shocks, bone fractures, and/or even death. Touch potential is also the main contributor to numerous incidences of static electricity shocks, especially when touching metallic doorknobs.
Excellent information 👌👍
More than wonderful pro 🩷💪
